Relief Supplies, Provided by Buddhist Monk Distributed thru Army Coordination in Puleliya

Wanni troops actively coordinated and organized a massive welfare project for the benefit of monks in temples, needy civilians, orphans, students and local residents Wednesday (17) after gathering all of them to the Kiralagala Purana Viharaya in Puleliya area.

The sponsor of the consignment of relief supplies, Ven Narampanawe Ananda Nayake Thera, Deputy Registrar of the Asgiriya Chapter and Parivenadhipathi of the Asgiriya Maha Pirivena under this relief project gave away most essentials to 10 Buddhist temples, utensils, dry rations and household items to 97 poor families in the area, educational accessories to 181 Sunday school students and clothes, dry rations, furniture and learning aids to the inmates at Neriyakulam Salvatorian Children's Home.

The meritorious donation initiative, sponsored by Ven Narampanawe Ananda Nayake Thera coincided with the 33rd death anniversary commemoration of his guru, late Anunayaka Thero of the Asgiri Chapter and the former Incumbent at Muthiyangana Raja Maha Vihara, Ven Halyale Sri Sumanatissa Nayake Thera.

This community programme was actively organized by troops under the guidance of Major General Hemantha Bandara, Commander Security Forces-Wanni and Major General Vikum Liyanage, General Officer Commanding, 21 Division with the active support, extended by 5 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry troops under the supervision of the Brigadier Rasika Kumara, Commander, 213 Brigade. The Chief Instructor at Battalion Training School, Bogoda, the Commanding Officer of the 5 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Officers and Other Ranks, of the 513 Brigade (Wanni) attended the arrangement. jordan release date | Mens Flynit Trainers
