Devotees attending the annual pooja festival at Navatkuli Kaliamman Temple in the Jaffna peninsula were provided with drinking water and refreshments by 18th Battalion Gemunu Watch soldiers serving the area under the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J).
This recent festival was conducted throughout day and night with special poojas with participation of hundreds of devotees. Provision of refreshments and water helped them ease their thirst to a larger extent.
