The Passing Out Parade of the Recruit Training Course No-53 at the Recruit Training Centre (RTC) in Ipalogama took place recently in the presence of Senior Officers, parents and relatives.
Major General Upul Weerakoon, General Officer Commanding, 21 Infantry Division received the salute of the Passing Out Parade of 471 recruits as the Chief Guest after review of the parade in conformity with military formalities.
Recruit S.M.K.L Bandara, Recruit R.H.D.H Darshana and Recruit W.I.C Bandara were respectively awarded certificates as Best All-Rounder, Best in Physical Fitness and Best Shooter.
A brief troop address brought the day's proceedings to an end.
