Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC), one of the reputed units of the Army honoured 142 War Heroes by awarding ‘Rana Sura Padakkama’ (RSP) gallantry medal during a ceremony at Panagoda SLSC Regimental Centre auditorium on Wednesday (18).
During the ceremony headed by Major General E.P. De Z Abeysekara, Colonel Commandant, SLSC, next of kin of 17 fallen War Heroes, 13 retired War Heroes were included among the total of 142 gallantry medals recipients.
A large gathering of senior officers, other ranks, family members and invitees attended the occasion.
