Quarantined Individuals Leave Diyagama & Giragama QCs Thanking Troops

Untiring troops, dedicated for quarantining of expatriates and other Sri Lankans in more than 45 improvised Quarantine Centres across the country have been rendering their invaluable roles, despite life threatening risks on the instructions of Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Head of the (NOCPCO), Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army.

On Friday (12) Diayagama Quarantine Centre managed by Corps of Engineer Services after formalities were over, sent off a total of 113 quarantined individuals after conduct of PCR tests and issue of the Quarantine Certificates.

Similarly, on Saturday (13) another batch of 45 individuals after completion of quarantine process left the Giragama Quarantine Centre under supervision of 11 Division having thanked the Army for their hospitality and commitment for eradication of COVID-19 epidemic from the country.
