Troops of the 6 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) under command to 68 Division and 682 Brigades of the Security Force HQ-Mullaitivu organized a distribution of school accessories and dry ration packs among needy families in the general area of Puthumathalan, Mullaitivu with sponsorship, provided by Ven Kurunegala Thorayaya Nagolle Kashyapa Thero, following guidelines given by Major General Sanjaya Wanasinghe,Commander, Security Forces, Mullaitivu on Thursday (16).
44 school students at Puthumathalan Roman Catholic school received the school accessories and their parents received dry ration packs. The sponsor, Ven Kurunegala Thorayaya Nagolle Kashyapa Thero and the Commander Security Forces-Mullaitivu graced the distribution cremony, adhering to health guidelines.
681 Brigade Commander, 682 Brigade Commander, Commanding Officers, government officials, school staff, parents, and students attended the donation programme.
