Mrs Saranya Selvaraj, Agrarian Instructor in Udayarkattukulam in Mullaittivu at the request of the 681 Brigade of the 68 Division under the Security Force HQ - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) delivered an educative lecture on ‘Production of organic Fertilizer’ for the benefit of farmers in the area on Tuesday (27).
The arrangement that coincides with the ongoing Presidential initiative and the Army Commander’s ‘Thuru Mithuru - Nawa Ratak’ project took place at the 681 Brigade Headquarters.
The awareness workshop was supported by 7 Gemunu Watch and 9 Sri Lanka National Guard troops and it was held at the 681 Brigade Headquarters.
The programme was coordinated by Brigadier Nalin Hettiarachchi of the 681 Brigade, General Officer Commanding of the 68 Division and respective Commanding Officers under the supervision of Major General Sisira Pilapitiya, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu.
