Public Awareness Meeting Held in Muttur

Major General Channa Weerasooriya, General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division on Wednesday (12) chaired an awareness programme in Muttur area with religious leaders, community leaders and professionals of the Muslim community in order to educate the public on the importance of security and peaceful co-existence in the area at Nadhuwa Arabic School in Muttur.

The Commander, 223 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Shantha Perera, Commanding Officer of 15 SLLI, Lieutenant Colonel S.M.D.N Samarakoon and 100 attendees, including Muslim Maulavis, Chairmen, Secretaries of Muslim Mosques, Chairman of the Fishing Society and members of Muttur Fisheries Association also attended the cordial meeting.Nike shoes | Nike News
