Members of the special Presidential Task Force (PTF), appointed by HE the President to look into needs for health security of tri service personnel in the wake of the COVID-19 threat paid a visit to the 58 Division HQ in Puttalam on Thursday (11) and had a close look at the entire compound.
Major General A.P.I Fernando, General Officer Commanding, 58 Division welcomed the delegation, headed by Marshal of the Air Force & Governor for Western Province Roshan Goonathilake and briefed him on health precautions inside the camp premises.
The PTF, inclusive of former Navy Commander, Admiral Jayanath Perera, Major General (Retd) Sumeda Perera and a few more senior Tri service members are in the practice of inspecting island-wide Army formations in order to ensure health safety of all ranks.
After the field visit, those members sat together and discussed ways and means of further improving standards inside the camp premises. Marshal of the Air Force and Governor Roshan Goonathilake left a few comments in the visitor’s book at the end of the visit. buy footwear | Nike SB
