Directorate of Psychological Operations at the Army Headquarters launched one more awareness programmes to improve the character and personalities of Army personnel serving in the Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) at the SLA Regimental Headquarters in Panagoda on Wednesday (6).
6 Officers and 190 Other Ranks of the SLA participated in the awareness programme at Panagoda Regimental Centre.
Medical Specialist Colonel (Dr) Roshan Monaragala, Senior Psychological Consultant, Lieutenant Colonel A.T.C Ariyarathna and a few more doctors in the Psychological Unit at Colombo Army Hospital conducted those awareness programmes.
Those programmes and lectures focused on topics, such as Suicides, Use of Alcohol and Drugs, Stress Management, Enhancement of Life Skills and Happy Married Life, etc.
