The Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army, Brigadier R.D Sallay ndc, visited the 3 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (3 SLCMP) on 22 May 2024.
Upon arrival at the 3 SLCMP, the Senior Officer was warmly welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel M.D.S.U.K Weerasinghe USP psc, the Commanding Officer and delivered a comprehensive briefing on the functions of 3 SLCMP.
Adding memories to the day, the Provost Marshal was invited to pose for a few group photographs with the Unit staff and was also invited to plant a sapling in the compound. Following this, the Provost Marshal addressed the troops, followed by an All-Ranks tea session.
Towards the end, the Provost Marshal penned down some complimentary remarks in the visitors’ book. The visit concluded with an inspection of the camp premises.
