Provost Marshal Makes Formal Visit to 6 SLCMP in Mullaittivu

The Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army, Brigadier Anil Illangakoon made an official visit to the 6th Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (6 SLCMP) at Mullaittivu on Saturday (5).

On arrival, the Provost Marshal was warmly welcomed by Major J.S Jayathilake, Commanding Officer of 6 SLCMP and invited him to receive Guard Turnout honours. Later on, he planted a sapling as a symbol of memory and addressed all ranks. Towards the end of the visit, the Commanding Officer of 6 SLCMP awarded a special memento to Brigadier Anil Illangakoon, a token that would remember his visit to the Unit.
