Troops of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) upon arrival of their newly-promoted Colonel Commandant, Major General P.A.C Fernando USP at the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps HQ premises in Werahera after receipt of new promotion insignia from the Commander of the Army, presented honours and greeted him in accordance with military traditions on 29 May.
Troops of the SLAMC Regiment Center presented a Guard Turnout salute at the entrance and a subsequent Guard of Honour afterwards during formalities.
Major General P.A.C Fernando USP, Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps and Director General Army Health Services addressed his troops after a while and joined an all-rank tea to mark the end of the day’s proceedings.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended the felicitation ceremony.
