Procurement Process Workshop for Officers of Army Headquarters

A two-day workshop on the procurement process was held for Officers at Army Headquarters on 24 and 25 July 2024. The workshop was conducted by the School of Ordnance in collaboration with the Directorate of Training, under the guidance of Major General S.A.N.D. Edirisinghe RWP RSP Hdmc psc, Director General General Staff.

The workshop was inaugurated with opening remarks by Chief of Staff, Major General S.R.B. Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc. Topics included such as introduction to the procurement process, tender calling notices, bidding documents, tender guidelines, evaluation of bidders, and an introduction to e-GP. The workshop aimed to enhance Officers' understanding of procurement procedures and improve efficiency in handling tenders.
