The Quartermaster Commission Course - 24 culminated at Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Training School (SLAVFTS) at Diyatalawa on Friday (8).
42 Probationary Officers followed the Course, conducted under two stages at training establishments in the Sri Lanka Army. The first stage was conducted at the Army School of Logistics and the Course commenced on 9 September.
It was conducted under the supervision of the Directorate of Training and on the directions of the Army Training Command, compatible with the ‘Sri Lanka Army Way Forward Strategy 2020 - 2025’.
The course was designed to transform qualified and suitable selected Warrant Officers of the Sri Lanka Army Regular Force to qualify as Quartermasters.
The closing ceremony took place adhering to COVID-19 guidelines with a brief closing address of the Commandant, SLAVFTS, Colonel H.A Keerthinatha as the chief guest.
