One more batch of 40 Army personnel serving the Security Forces Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) after successful completion of a Computer Course (level-3), received their certificates in a simple ceremony last week.
Orient Academy, a private sector computer training institute has been supporting training of north-based Army personnel in computer technology for the last couple of moths, in response to a request made by Major General Nandana Udawatta, Commander, SFHQ-KLN.
Certificates awarding ceremony for this batch was attended by Colonel D.H.M.W.B Tammita as Chief Guest. Several weeks ago, thanks to the support and cooperation of the same educational institute, about 100 more Army personnel received qualifications in computer technology.
