A private company and the Old Boys Association (OBA) of Kandy Dharmaraja College, concerned about the health safety of heroic troops, now engaged in the control of COVID-19 pandemic under the 11 Division HQ areas of the Security Force HQ-Central donated a stock of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) overalls and safety masks for use of the troops serving in Kandy, Matale, Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts.
Company representatives of ESKIMO Fashion Knitwear Lanka Limited after meeting the General Officer Commanding, 11 Division, Major General Senarath Bandara donated the stock at the 11 Division HQ premises on Tuesday (5). Similarly, representatives of the Dharmaraja College OBA on Wednesday (6) called at the 11 Division HQ and made a similar donation of facial masks and overalls for use of the troops. These overalls and safety masks will be distributed among Brigades, Battalions and Training schools under command to the 11 Division HQ.
