Prima Trg School at ASVU President's Request Begins Course on 'Bakery Products'

Following an initiative of Mrs Sujeewa Nelson, President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), a course on 'Bakery products' for interested Army soldiers was conducted by Prima Training Center at Rajagiriya on Friday (11).

The three day-long bakery course focuses training of Army personnel on production of pastries, bread, buns, bakery items, cake and other sweetmeats.

The first day's first lecture was conducted by Mr. Ranjan Amarasinghe, Principal at Prima Training Center on importance of bakery products, composition of ingredients, etc. The second lecture was conducted by Colonel T. Sumeda Balasuriya, Colonel (coordinating) Army Seva Vanitha Unit on the timely validity of the course.
