Members of the special Presidential Task Force, appointed by HE the President to look into needs for health security of tri service personnel in the wake of the COVID-19 threat on Friday (1) paid a visit to the 14 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment camp, stationed at Tripoly premises in Maradana and had a close look at the entire compound.
Members of the Task Force, inclusive of retired senior officers and medical experts, headed by Western Province Governor and Marshal of the Air Force Roshan Gunathilaka, together with the former Navy Commander, Admiral Jayanath Perera, Major General (Retd) Sumeda Perera, a senior Army officer, Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage, Chief of Staff of the Army, Major General Jayantha Senevirathne, Commander Security Forces-West, Major General Thilak Hangilipola, General Officer Commanding 14 Division and a few more Presidential Task Force members called at the compound.
