The President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, recently paid a visit to the 'Abimansala-2' Wellness Center in Kamburupitiya on 29 January 2024.
During her visit, the President had a cordial interaction with the resident War Heroes, inquiring about their wellbeing and the progress of their recuperation. While the interaction took place, she also distributed gift packs.
Furthermore, the President donated cleaning items essential for maintaining the War Heroes' swimming pool, used for hydrotherapy. The president also engaged in offering lunch for the inmates and mementoes were also exchanged during the visit.
Before departing, the President posed for a group photograph with the resident War Heroes.
Major General R.A.J.N Ranasinghe RSP USP ndu, General Officer Commanding, 61 Infantry Division, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the occasion.
