Distribution of school accessories and books to kids learning at Adiradan Preschool in Alankulam GN Division took place on 08 December on an initiative taken by All Ranks serving the 65 Division, based in Thunukkai.
15 kids received those aids and lunch on the same occasion as a humanitarian project of the troops since those kids belong to poor families.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 65 Division Major General Anil Samarasiri.
Along with this programme, troops also repaired the defunct sanitary facilities in the pre-school.
