Troops of the 52 Infantry Division organised a coconut roti dansela to mark the Poson Festival at Division Headquarters premises on 21 June 2024, under the guidance of Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division.
Meanwhile, the 4 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment organised a jackfruit dansela at J/358 Imayanan area to coincide with the Poson celebrations on the same day.
Additionally, the 11 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) organised a seeni sambal bread and plain tea dansela near their unit premises, under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of 11 VIR.
Further, 10 (V) VIR organised a rice dansela for the civilian community living in Maradankeni, under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of 10 (V) VIR. A large gathering of the civilian community participated in the event.
