Army personnel of the 22 Division, Trincomalee under the Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E) practised Buddhist virtues of donating by organizing a rice Dansela at the Anuradhapura Market premises on Poson Poya day (2).
Several Buddhist monks, Hindu, Catholic and Islam priests were also present at the inauguration of the Dansela to signify religious harmony.
The free eatery organized as a gesture of goodwill, attracted many Poson sight-seers and poor families who came there on account of the Poson commemoration. The free eatery was attended by a large group of people in the area.
