Under the guidance of Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, the General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division, the troops of the Division organized a Poson Zone at Kanagarayankulam temple premises on 21 and 22 June 2024.
A display of Poson lanterns, Bakthi Geetha, and a Rice Dansala were held during the event, initiated by Venerable Atambagaskada Kalyanatissa Maha Nayaka Thero.
The success of this initiative was achieved through the dedicated efforts of Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks, and the participation of Hindu, Christian, and Muslim religious leaders, along with the support of well-wishers and residents in the area.
