One more meeting of the Polonnaruwa District Coordinating Committee for prevention of COVID-19 pandemic was held at the office of the Regional Director of Health Services of Polonnaruwa on Sunday (02) in order to further discuss measures that should be taken to mitigate the spread of 3rd wave of the pandemic in Polonnaruwa district.
The meeting was presided by the Governor of the North Central Province Mr. Maheepala Herath where the District Secretary Polonnaruwa Mr. W.A Dharmasiri, District Coordinating Officer Polonnaruwa and the Commander Security Forces-East Major General Channa Weerasuriya, Divisional Secretary Polonnaruwa Mr. Harsha Bandara attended the meeting as stakeholders to discuss matters pertaining to prevention of COVID 19 pandemic.
