VAVUNIYA: TIGER TERRORISTS THURSDAY (13) morning detonated a claymore mine targeting a Police route clearing party at KURUKKALPUDUKULAM, VAVUNIYA at about 7.35 a.m.
One Police Constable sustained severe injuries in the blast and succumbed to injuries on admission to VAVUNIYA hospital.
Police with the assistance of the troops commenced a search operation in the area.
