Poland’s DA Pays Courtesy Call

The Defence, Military, Naval and Air Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in India accredited to Sri Lanka, Colonel Slawomir Koltun on Wednesday (9) paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake at the Army Headquarters.

Colonel Slawomir who is due to complete his tenure of diplomatic service as the Defence Attaché is scheduled to leave for Poland shortly.

During his farewell meeting with the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Colonel Slawmoir reaffirmed Poland’s commitment towards bridging bi-lateral defence cooperation with Sri Lanka.

Mementos were also exchanged towards the end of the meeting.
