Patients at Seva Vanitha-Established ICC at Seeduwa Given Essentials by Seva Vanitha Units & Private Donors

The Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), instrumental in shouldering the task of erecting the country's biggest ICC at Seeduwa, now functional in close cooperation with health authorities continues to receive multifaceted stimulating supportive assistance from various quarters, including different Seva Vanitha units in the organization and private sector donors.

A few days ago, a team headed by the Chairperson, Military Intelligence Seva Vanitha Unit gifted a stock of sanitary items and medical equipment, needed for the ICC and its patients after meeting the President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs Sujeewa Nelson.

Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Unit also donated a stock of bedsheets, pillows, pillow cases and sanitary items to the ASVU President through the sponsoring coordination given by Hemas Manufacturers (Pvt) Ltd.

Similarly, Ariya Milk Products Private Limited also gifted a stock of dairy products for use among the inmates at this ICC. The Seva Vanitha President at the venue received the stock from the Manager of the company.

The Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) under the guidance of General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army and Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) took the lead in erecting this ICC with the technical and manpower support of Army troops.

Brigadier Thushara Balasooriya, Brigadier Coordinating, Army Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs Manori Sally, Chairperson MICSVU, Mrs Nishanthi Abeyrathna, Chairperson SLASC SVU, representatives of those donor companies, Mr S.K.T.C Munasingha and Mr Chandika Nirosh were present at the time those donations were made.
