Pakistan High Commission’s Defence Adviser Assures his Organization’s Support for Infrastructure Development

Colombo-based Pakistan High Commission’s Defence Attaché, Colonel Sajjad Ali on Thursday (21) called on Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army at the Army Headquarters.

The visiting Colonel Sajjad Ali during cordial discussions acknowledged sound and friendly relations that exist between both military organizations for so many years and explored possibilities of further assisting the infrastructure improvement of Army and Tri service training institutes in Sri Lanka. Lieutenant General Silva also thanked the Pakistan Army for offering many training opportunities for members of the Sri Lankan armed forces and other logistic requirements as a true neighbour in the region.
