Pakistan's Army Chief Attends Cadet Officers' Final Presentation

General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani NI (M) HI, Chief of Army Staff Pakistan Army, currently in Sri Lanka arrived at the Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA), Diyatalawa Friday (28) evening to be received by Security Force Commander - Central (SFHQ-C) Major General H.C.P Goonetillake and SLMA Commandant, Brigadier I.P Ranasinghe.

General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, invited to be the Chief Guest at SLMA’s Passing out Parade (PoP) on Saturday (29) attended the final presentation of Cadet Officers and the formal dinner at the SLMA, hosted by the Commandant, SLMA.

The visiting Army Chief of Pakistan did not forget to visit the latest addition of 8 horses gifted to the SLMA by Pakistan Army for equestrian training of officers were faring. He fed them and spoke to caretakers serving the place.
