Troops of the 142 Brigade and 143 Brigade under command to the 14 Division and Security Force Headquarters - West recently distributed oxygen concentrators to the Sri Jayawadenapura Hospital, De zoysa Hospital, Kurunegala Teaching Hospital and Kuliyapitiya Hospital.
Those oxygen concentrators were donated for the use of emergencies in those hospitals.
This stock of Medical equipment was received from General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army from various donors for distribution among the most needed.
Major General Sujeewa Senerath Yapa, Commander Security Forces - West gave away necessary directions to the General Officer Commanding, 14 Division to conduct the distribution programme.
