Outgoing Namibian Defence Attaché Calls on Commander of the Army

Brigadier General Titus Simon, Defence Attaché of the High Commission of Namibia, resident in New Delhi paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu Thursday (20) morning at the Army Headquarters, prior to vacation of his present appointment as Defence Attaché.

During the cordial meeting, the outgoing envoy expressed his gratitude to the Army Chief for the co-operation and goodwill extended during his tenure and thanked the Army for its sound understanding and brotherhood.

They also recalled longstanding relations between Namibia and Sri Lanka and underlined the importance of further cementing such ties. The meeting culminated with exchange of mementos.
