A Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour saluted the outgoing Major General Deepthi Jayathilaka, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu (SF-MLT) on Wednesday (15) when he arrived at the 59 Division premises to bid farewell.
Troops of the 24 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment presented the Guard Turn out at 59 -Div premises and he was later invited to plant a sapling in the premises as a gesture of memory. Later, the outgoing Major General Deepthi Jayathilaka addressing the troops thanked All Ranks for the generous assistance and support, extended to him during his tenure.
