The outgoing Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu, Major General Deepthi Jayathilaka in accordance with military traditions was honoured at the 68 Division Headquarters premises when he arrived there to take leave of the 68 Division troops on Wednesday (15).
Troops of the 18 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) presented a drive-past Guard Turnout at the entrance to the 68 Division HQ after he was received by the General Officer Commanding, 68 Division, Major General Jagath Rathnayake. Afterwards, he sat for a group photo with all ranks at the HQ. The outgoing Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu, Major General Deepthi Jayathilaka in his address to the troops later on thanked All Ranks for the generous assistance and support, extended to him during his tenure.
