Outgoing Indian Assistant Defence Adviser Bids Farewell

Lieutenant Colonel Ravi Shekhar Mishra, the Assistant Defence Adviser in the High Commission of India for Sri Lanka made his courtesy farewell call on the Chief Of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva at his office in the Army Headquarters on Tuesday (10) morning.

During the cordial meeting, the outgoing envoy expressed his gratitude for the co-operation and goodwill, extended to him during his tenure in Sri Lanka and thanked the Army for its sound understanding and brotherhood.

They also recalled longstanding relations between India and Sri Lanka and underlined the importance of further cementing such ties.
