Major General Sena Waduge, the outgoing Commander, Army Training Command (ARTRAC) relinquished the duties on 02 October 2021 during a simple ceremony, held at the Headquarters ARTRAC Diyatalawa.
The outgoing Commander ARTRAC reviewed a Guard Turnout presented at the entrance to the Headquarters ARTRAC. After ceremonial formalities, Major General Sena Waduge planted a sapling to add memories to his relinquishment.
Thereafter, while addressing the officers and Other Ranks at the HQ ARTRAC, he emphasized the significant role that the ARTRAC played towards the successful achievement of the objectives of the Sri Lanka Army Way Forward strategy as the apex body of the Army training.
Finally, an all rank tea arrangement and a cordial conversation with the troops culminated the day’s proceedings held strictly adhering to the health guidelines and restrictions.
