Other Ranks in Peninsula Provided More Recreation Facilities

The newly-built holiday bungalow at Palaly T-Junction, 'Beach Edge' for use of Other Ranks and their families serving the peninsila was vested in the troops on Thursday (14 December 2023) during a simple ceremony.

The Commander, Security Forces -Jaffna, Major General S.R.K Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, declared open the facility as the Chief Guest.

The new Holiday Bungalow includes fully-furnished family rooms, attached bathrooms and all facilities. Troops of the 5 Corps of Engineer Services Regiment provided technical assistance and undertook the overall construction responsibility.

Senior Officers, Staff Officers and Other Ranks at the Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna attended the event.
