Woman officers of 6 (v) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) with the blessings of the Security Forces Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) offered their expertise and trained inmates at Kilinochchi Ashram Maha Deva Children’s Orphanage in flower making and English language during a recent workshop.
More than 50 children underwent the full day’s training, for the first time in the orphanage’s history and had a day of learning and entertainment. Army trainers offered refreshments and meals to the inmates during the arrangements.
