One More ‘Healthy Army-Healthy Nation’ Awareness Held

A zoom arrangement, put in place by the Colombo Army Hospital’s ‘Healthy Army-Healthy Nation’ project launching one more phase of it, educated troops across island-wide Security Force Headquarters, Divisional Headquarters and Brigade Headquarters on Wednesday (27) on the importance of best health practices.

The latest programme was conducted by Colonel (Dr) G.K Rajapaksha, Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon at Colombo Army Hospital, in which a wide variety of aspects, related to preventive methods, best health modules, physical postures, reconstructive surgery and technical aspects were discussed in detail.

The Colombo Army Hospital as per directions of the Army Chief has adopted comprehensive plans to keep the troops constantly informed of the importance of their personal health practices in order to minimize illnesses and diseases among them.

This Health Education programme is conducted every Wednesday of the week until 28th September 2022.
