The certificate-awarding ceremony in the Tamil Language Course organized by the 621 Brigade on the instructions of Major General B.H.M.A Wijesinghe, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 62 Division with the intention of enhancing Tamil Language proficiency among Army personnel of the 62 Division area got underway in the 621 Brigade Conference Hall on Monday (12).
A total of 24 Army personnel followed the course during 17 October-7 December.
The certificate-awarding ceremony of the Course was attended by Lieutenant Colonel S.A.N.D Edirisinghe, Colonel General Staff (Col GS), 62 Division who gave away certificates to the course attendees representing the GOC 62 Division.
During the event, a special drama and songs were presented by Course students, showcasing what they have learnt.
Brigade Commander, 621 Brigade (overlooking), senior officers and other rankers participated in the closing ceremony.
