One more senior Brigadier who was just promoted to the next rank had the privilege of receiving good wishes from the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage this morning (5) at the Army Headquarters.
Major General RMM Ranasinghe WWV RWP RSP of Special Forces, thus received the General’s sword from the Army Chief at the Commander’s office.
Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage expressed his happiness and congratulated him on the promotion to the prestigious two star rank and appreciated the Senior Officer for his loyal and dedicated service to the nation.
