One More New House, Built by Jaffna Troops Gifted to a Needy Family

Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna (SFHQ-J) with sponsorship provided by Mr. Vamadeva Thiagendran, Founder and Chairman of Thiyahie Charitable Trust built one more new house to a needy family in Kopay and vested it in beneficiaries on Tuesday (23) during a simple ceremony.

Major General Ruwan Wanigasoooriya, Commander, Security Forces, together with the donor, Mr. Vamadeva Thiagendran who donated both the land and all raw materials for the construction vested the house in Mrs. Yogendran Yoki of Kopay after cutting a ribbon and performing Hindu religious observances. At the same time, special gift parcels were also given to the beneficiaries as incentives.

The project was coordinated by Major General Lalith Rathnayake, General Officer Commanding, 51 Division.
