One more round of discussion of the Batticaloa District Coordinating Committee for prevention of COVID - 19 pandemic was held at the District Secretariat Batticaloa on Friday (14), presided by the District Secretary for Batticaloa, Mr. K Karunaharan, Director of Batticaloa Teaching Hospital, DIG of Batticaloa District, Major General Nalin Koswatte, General Officer Commanding, 23 Division and Colonel Vijitha Hettiarachchi, Commander 231 Brigade.
Major General Nalin Koswatte at the request of the Batticaloa Teaching Hospital handed over a High Speed Micro Liter Centrifuge Machine to the hospital following a donation he received from one Mr. Nallarathne in order to strengthen PCR testing capacity during the pandemic.
