Omanthai SLSR Camp Gets its Own Holiday Cottage

All Ranks in the 21 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) were vested with a new holiday cottage inside the camp in Omanthai during a brief ceremony on Monday (30).

This cottage was the result of an initiative of the Commanding Officer, 21 SLSR, Lieutenant Colonel J.M.J Perera. Families of all ranks visiting the area could also use this facility, constructed by troops of the 21 SLSR.

It was brought to completion on the directions of the Commander, 563 Brigade, Colonel K.P.A Perera and under the supervision of the General Officer Commanding, 56 Division,l Major General W.M.J.R.K Senarathne.

The warming ceremony was held to coincide with the 11th Anniversary of the 21 SLSR. Commander, Security Forces - Wanni, Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri attended the inaugural opening as the Chief Guest.
