A fluid warmer, worth about Rs 2,75,000 was donated to the COVID-19 ward at the Colombo Army Hospital by the A/L batch of 2001 at Visakha Vidyalaya Colombo on Thursday (8).
The unit was handed over to Colonel (Dr) Champika Abeysinghe, Consultant Anaesthetist at the Army Hospital by Dr Nimangee Mithraratne representing the group of donors. Mr M.S.M Msqsoom, Product Manager, Akbar Pharmaceuticals was also present at the occasion.
