A “Sith Sevana Sahayogitha Sansadaya,”-sponsored humanitarian project saw both 5 Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment and 15 Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment serving the Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E) organized a two-day seminar on Mathematics for more than 200 G.C.E (O/L) candidates of 13 schools in Muttur Educational Zone during November 18-19 at Alhidiya Muslim School and Mollipothana Sinhala School.
In the meantime, 22 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment’s (VIR) troops in the 222 Brigade under 22 Division assisted to construct a new “Teachers’ Quarters” at Kallarawa Sinhala School in Kallar recently.
The Project was conducted under the directions of the 22 Division and the troops serving the 22 VIR provided labour assistance to the project.
Meanwhile, 27 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops conducted a Shramadana campaign to clear surrounding areas near Echalampattu Hospital of garbage.
