Officers Training Day Conducted at Home of Armour

Under the guidance of Major General S.W.M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, Commander, Security Forces - West and Colonel Commandant Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC), Officers Training Day and a Diners Club were successfully conducted on 11 June 2024, at the Home of Armour.

The Training Day comprised five insightful segments designed to empower SLAC Officers with essential skills and knowledge. The day commenced with a physical training session followed by sword drill training.

The day's highlight was the inaugural Generals’ Talk session, chaired by the Colonel Commandant SLAC. During this session, seven Major Generals shared their extensive knowledge and experiences with the young cavalrymen. Each Major General spoke about their career highlights, progression, challenges faced, and how they overcame them, concluding with valuable takeaways for all serving Officers.
