The second basic unarmed combat course of the 2 Commando Regiment (CR) for officers and other ranks began recently at Vidathalathivu Commando Training School.
The passing out ceremony of 9 officers and 121 other ranks who successfully completed the course took place on Monday (3). General Officer Commanding, 66 Division attended as the Chief Guest, together with school Commandant and other Unit Commanders in the area.
A display of drills and training modules by those who followed the course culminated the day’s programme.
