The Passing Out Parade of the Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare Officer Course No-32, Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare and the Senior Non Commissioned Officers and Non Commissioned Officers Course No-34 took place at the Army Training School (ATS) in Maduru Oya on Friday (28 July 2023) at the Army Training School in Maduru Oya.
The Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare Officers course included 27 Officers along with two Air Force Officers and 1 Navy Officer. The other Course was followed by 55 Senior Non Commissioned Officers and Non Commissioned Officers.
Captain S.A.M.A.K.C Senanayake of 7 Field Engineers Regiment was awarded as the Best Student Officer while Lance Corporal D.M.S Chathuranga of 3 (V) Gemunu Watch received the Best Student award from the Chief Guest of the event, Brigadier K.A.W.N.H Bandaranayake USP, Commandant at Army Training School.
