Officers in Kilinochchi Attend Awareness Lectures

A workshop for promotion of mental well-being and mitigation of mental stress of Officers serving under Security Forces Kilinochchi got underway on Wednesday (24) at the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) auditorium.

Under the guidance of Commander, Security Forces -Kilinochchi, Major General Jayantha Gunaratne, a combined team from the Directorate of Psychological Operations, Directorate of Preventive Medicine and Mental Health, led by Brigadier R.M.M Monaragala, conducted this workshop on the topic ‘Stress Management and well-being’. More than 26 Senior Officers from under command establishments of SF - Kilinochchi attended the sessions.

Meanwhile, an awareness lecture on ‘The Officer, Officering and Best Practices at Officers’ Mess’ was conducted for Officers in under command establishments on Wednesday (24) at the ‘Nelumpiyasa’ auditorium at SFHQ-KLN on the guidelines given by Major General Jayantha Gunaratne.
